 Saint Rose of Lima: Biography and Selected Online Writings
Saint Rose was born at Lima, Peru in 1586. She led a virtuous life at home and, after receiving the habit of the Third Order of Saint Dominic, made great progress in a life of penance and contemplation. She died August 24, 1617. Her feast day in the Roman calendar is August 23. |
