St. John Eudes
St. John Eudes, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sacred Heart of JesusSt. John Eudes was born in France in the year 1601.  After being ordained to the priesthood, he spent years preaching missions and in founding congregations to improve priestly formation and promote a life of Christian virtue.  He was particularly dedicated to fostering devotion to the hearts of Jesus and Mary.  St. John Eudes died in 1680.
