Roman Catholic Books:
Crossroads Unique Selection
(free shipping available--no sales tax outside of Texas)
There are thousands of Roman Catholic Books on the market today. We can, of course, offer only a selection of these books. But it is a very special selection indeed! First, of course, if they are to be truly Roman Catholic books, the content has to be fully compatible with the official teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. But there are lots of books that are doctrinally sound yet seldom read simply because they are dense and unapproachable, written in dull style that makes reading them an arduous act of penance!
Penance is a good thing, but you won't find books like that at the Crossroads Initiative! The Catholic books we have chosen, by Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio, Dr. Scott Hahn, Jeff Cavins, Matt Pinto and many others, are all delightful, inspiring reads! These Catholic books for teens and adults are written in a language that is easy to understand, and filled with humor, stories, and examples that make their spiritual teaching easy to grasp and natural to apply to real life. Our Catholic books are also divided up into small chapters and subchapters for busy people on the go who can only read modest bits at a time before they are suddenly called to run off to work or drive a child to a sporting event. Our study guides accompany powerful audio-video resources in a way that turns a CD or DVD into a very thorough Catholic bible study on a given topic, complete with references to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, discussion questions, and ideas for personal application and spiritual exercises.
If there are any Roman Catholic books not included in our online Catholic bookstore that you think are great for faith formation, religious education, lectio divina, or spiritual reading that we should carry, please contact us at info@crossroadsinitiative.com.

The most dominant force in the lives of almost all Americans is the media—the Internet, TV, radio, blackberries, ipods. The list goes on and on. Although incredibly intoxicating, the media all too often distracts us from that which is most important, and in many instances, actually fights against our good and noble goals in life. Teresa Tomeo gives a sobering analysis of each of the nine dominant forms of media, and she reveals how they are rapidly dismantling families and destroying lives.
