Help Dr. Italy Share Christ’s Message

December 9, 2025

Dear Friends in Christ,

Having just celebrated Thanksgiving, I just want to give thanks. 2025 has been one of the most extraordinary years in the 44-year history of Crossroads Productions.

And I especially want to thank those of you who responded to our Giving Tuesday appeal and to all of you who regularly support our ministry throughout the year! There are still plenty of opportunities to help us share Christ’s abundant life with a starving world (click button above), so please read on to learn what our ministry has been doing this year, what we hope to accomplish in 2026, and how you can support our mission:

Some of our work in 2025:

  • We helped Ascension Press launch two world-class video series – Foundations of Faith, on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and, in collaboration with Jeff Cavins, a new Great Adventure Bible timeline.
  • I co-wrote a book on our new Pope called When the White Smoke Rises: a Guide to Pope Leo XIV’s Early Days.
  • I’ve appeared on EWTN TV and on all the major Catholic radio networks talking about Pope Leo and St. Maximilian Kolbe.
  • And we’ve led three groups of pilgrims on journeys of faith, walking in the footsteps of Christ and the saints
  • And last but not least, we helped launch and distribute what I believe to be one of the greatest Catholic films of all time.  Focused on the last days of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Auschwitz, Triumph of the Heart won awards in the US and internationally, and more importantly, touched hearts.  Over just the last three months roughly 250,000 people in Poland and the US have been deeply moved by this film.  A local priest who saw the movie in September recently pulled my wife aside after Mass to tell her that he thinks of the movie every day and that it has forever changed the way he performs his priestly ministry.

All this wouldn’t have been possible without your help. Many of you have supported us in prayer. Many have also supported us financially.

How You Can Help

We continue to need your help in both ways.  Here’s one reason why: in our quest to bring powerful Catholic films to a worldwide audience that desperately needs light and inspiration, we are like David going up against the Goliath of Hollywood.  Hollywood and the entire entertainment industry have played a huge role in eroding faith and morals in our country over the past 50 years.  In fact, they tried to block our movie getting out to you, at the last minute pulling the movie from half of the promised theaters.

So we are doing an end run around Hollywood and building our own distribution network via parish events and streaming.  It’s an ambitious undertaking but we’re up for the challenge, as David was.

Between now and Easter, we’ll be planning and executing our end-run strategy with the goal of changing another quarter million lives in 2026, especially young lives.  This movie was made by young adults and has particular appeal to young adults.

If you’ve ever wanted to see an alternative to the trash churned out by Hollywood, then please consider supporting us.  If you’ve ever wanted resources to help win back youth who strayed from the Church, please consider supporting us.

We are very grateful for both a quick prayer and a one-time financial gift.  But we are in it for the long haul.  Please put us on your daily or weekly prayer list and consider supporting us with a regular donation – monthly, quarterly or annually.  This helps sustain us month to month and allows us to plan and expand.

Our appeal goal:

  • We need another 100 people to pledge a dollar a day for the gospel, or $30/month ($120/quarter or $360 per year).
  • For those who can’t afford this, we are looking for another 500 people to pledge $10/month or $120 per year. I hope you can find at least $10 per month to help us keep proclaiming God’s word.

But whatever you may be able to give, whether once or a recurring gift, if you’d like to do so online on our website, simply click the button below:If you would like to donate over the phone, or have questions about donating by wire or ACH transfer, you can call our toll-free number: 800-803-0118 (this number only receives messages, so please leave your phone number when calling, and a Crossroads staff member will return your call).
