Podcast discussing an amazing opportunity to celebrate the end of pandemic confinement – pilgrimage to Fatima & Compostela including a Spain/Portugal River Cruise.
It’s been a long time that travel and freedom have been restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But restrictions are about to be lifted so it will be soon time to celebrate.
This 8 minute podcast, excerpted from the Sonrise Morning show, announces a fabulous opportunity to exercise our regained freedom. This October, Dr. Italy and the Crossroads Initiative will be leading an amazing journey to Fatima which will include visits to site associated with not only Mary, our blessed mother, but the Fatima visionaries Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, St. Anthony of Padua, Saint John of the Cross, and the apostle James, son of Zebedee.
This pilgrimage will include a river cruise through the Douro River Valley which is the heart of Portugal’s Wine country, and will even reach the famous medieval city of Salamanca, Spain. There will even be an optional side trip to Compostela, Spain, the goal of the famous Camino of Santiago de Compostela. Participants who wish will be able to walk the final 10 miles of this famous Camino.
October 2021 will be the perfect time for such an adventure – the summer heat will have subsided but the brilliant blue skies of sun-drenched Portugal will delight the pilgrims who join us for an adventure full of spiritual growth, Catholic heritage, and cultural richness.
